DescriptionTechnical description: Blackwood with german silver ferrules and keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Unstamped wooden mouthpiece marked for ligature possibly original. Raised tone-hole for R4. According to Waterhouse (1993) the stamp "Anton Hüller" was used after 1925. However, the design of the instrument gives a much earlier impression, using no F₃/C₅ key, but a raised tone-hole, i.e. mid 19th-century style.
