Depth of taper: shank depth 36. Diameter of taper: maximum 13.3; minimum 11.7. Stamped on side of cup "ANTOINE / COURTOIS / BREVETÉ / 88 R. DES MARAIS St. MARTIN / PARIS". Purchased by lender and by previous owner with, probably formerly used with, and possibly supplied by manufacturer with contrabass trombone (4215).
