Technical description: Metal bowl shell; head (`jouri') made of two goat skins with the upper cut away to leave a an outer ring, bound by leather thongs plaited and tensioned by leather thongs (`baddhi') of camel skin; a round, hardened, black tuning-paste placed centrically on the head; Head diameter 220.
