Cup volume 8985; shape quotient 1.089. Overall size: length 74.6; external diameter 40.6. Sounding length: cup depth 33.5. Bore: cup diameter 26.8; minimum diameter 7.2. Depth of taper: shank depth 37.5. Diameter of taper: maximum 13.2; minimum 12.0. Stamped on side of cup "MADE IN ENGLAND" and "THE SALVATION ARMY"; at top of shank "G. TROM.". Purchased by lender with and probably formerly used with bass trombone in G+D/C (1866). |
