Bore: mouthpipe at c 30mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 13.2; centre of 2 valve cluster at c 719mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (L1, L2) 15.4; centre of 3 valve cluster at c 971mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (R1, R 2, R3) 16.15; at 1825mm from bell end, c 28.1; at c 1373mm from bell end, 39.7. B = 0.46. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 14.4 - 13.5. Decorative features: engraved wavy pattern on german silver garland. Inscribed on garland "C.F. Zetsche Söhne in Berlin". Fitted wooden case, with paper labels (stuck on) relating to use in Egypt: on back "Hôtel / METROPOLE / ALEXANDRIE"; on small end "6,502 7 1 ?? 6 (D.)
