Technical description: Silver-plated; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 2.0; intermediate cup shape; maximum throat curvature 4. Cup volume 1337; shape quotient 1.282. Overall size: length 81.6; external diameter 25.4. Sounding length: cup depth 11.0; grain length c 12. Bore: cup diameter 15.8; minimum diameter 5.0. Depth of taper: shank depth 36.6. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.6; minimum 10.0. Stamped at top of shank "BOOSEY & C" (sic). Purchased by lender with, probably formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with ceremonial trumpet in Eb (2527); also possibly formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with ceremonial trumpet in Eb (2525).
