DescriptionTechnical description: Brass. Quick-change C to B♭ rotary valve with banana plate valve stops. Slide pull on main slide for high - low pitch change with adjustable stop. Tuning-slides on upper bow and valve tubing. Slide pull 40 (screw in), 87 (screw out).

bore: at c 20mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 10.6; expanding by 100mm from mouthpiece receiver to bore c 11.0; descending slide, 11.3; supplementary tuning-slide at foot of main slides, bore 12.9; ascending slide, 11.3; joint, 11.3; v.t.s. bore, 12.4; m.t.s. bore, 11.5 - 16.5.

Inscribed on valve "C" "B♭"; on banana plate "4"; on inner section of outer slide "l.p.".
