DescriptionA boxwood flute in four sections (the lower body and foot in one piece). There are 12 keys (of ‘small saltspoon’ type and five ferrules, all in German silver. The head is metal-lined and the tuning-slide wood-covered. The embouchure-hole is rectangular.
The instrument is stamped with a flower (?daffodil corolla) emblem above and below “G. HANNECKE / ROTTERDAM” on each section, and “69” is scratched on the foot ferrule. The overall size is 771mm and the sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 691mm.
