DescriptionThis flute, in four sections with four silver keys, is made from dark-stained wood. There are five ivory ferrules and an ivory cap. The embouchure-hole is circular. The overall size is 615mm and the embouchure-hole to foot length is 540mm. Although there is a graduated screw-stopper, this may be a later addition as there is no tuning slide. Judging by the wear to the wood around the embouchure-hole, this instrument has been much played and sounds well.
