Repair History: Taper has been modified. Overall size: length 73.4; external diameter 27.5. Sounding length: cup depth c 19. Bore: cup diameter 17.1; minimum diameter 4.8 at 26.5. Depth of taper: shank depth originally 28.8, now with step at 19.7. Diameter of taper: maximum originally 13.4; at step 11.93; minimum 11.0. No inscriptions. Decorative features: Distinctive ring and groove pattern with four bands of diagonal knurling. Taper has been modified. Purchased by lender with keyed bugle (3741). |
