Technical description: Cocus; 1|piece; 2|german silver ferrules; german silver key; oval embouchure-hole; 6|finger-holes plus two extra `slinging' holes between key and foot. R0: Keymount type: rod/pillar [with needle spring]. Keyhead type: cylinder cup.
General usage of type: The instrument is built to look like a fife, and was probably used as such, but unlike a true fife, it is conical and has one key.
