Repair History: Moving part of water-key a replacement. Overall size: 892; bell 302 Sounding length: minimum 4084. Bore: mouthpipe at c 20mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 13.1; m.t.s. at c 325mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 15.05; centre of valve cluster at c 936mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2,3) 15.05; 2042mm from bell end, c 23.9; c 1446mm from bell end, 33.8. B = 0.49. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 13.6 - 13.1. Inscribed on sides of valve casings "46", "47", "48". Knob or ring broken off 2nd valve tuning slide. Screw missing from music card holder fitting. Usable pitch: Diapason Normal; the very long main tuning slide allows lowering of 60 cents. |
