Valve type: One Périnet valve, bottom sprung; alignment by key on piston. Overall size: 746; bell 175. Sounding length: Overall aircolumn length 2859; additional length when valve operated 1522 (lowers by a perfect fifth). Bore: at distal end of mouthpipe tuning slide 10.7. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 10.9 - 10.5. Inscribed on bell "E. Maheu / GENT"; on side of valve casing "6". Specific literature references: Vichy auction catalogue 10.12.05, lot 432.
