DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Original named cocus wood mouthpiece, grooved for cord. Zig-zag speaker with chimney on left side of the instrument. 13 keys, 3 brass rollers.

Keymount type: screwed in pillars. Keyhead type: shallow cups.
Playing accessories: boxwood reed-cap. With a wooden leather covered box, lined with wallpaper. Also in case: A card box with fice 19th century reeds, wooden cleaning rod.
Condition: Bell rim slightly damaged.
Inscribed on mouthpiece, barrel and bell with star / "GEISLER" / star / "B"; on both sections with star / "GEISLER / AMSTERDAM" / star / "B". |
