DescriptionTechnical description: Silver-plated brass; no tuning-slide, but with spring slide buffers. Telescopic outer slide stay. With water-key. Bore increment in main slide. Valve type: Lever action rotary valve. Overall size: 1150; bell 231. Bore: at c 30mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 12.2; descending slide, 12.3; ascending slide, 13.5; joint, 13.8 stepping up c 60mm from end to c 14.8; v.t.s. 15.4. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 13.0 - 12.4. No inscriptions. Decorative features: Snake embellishments on main bow and on slide bow; combing on ferrules and stays. Usable pitch: Diapason Normal.
