Technical description: Silver-plated; semi-round rim contour; maximum bite curvature 2.5; deep intermediate cup shape with tapered throat having minimum bore at c 7mm beyond bottom of cup; maximum throat curvature 12. Cup volume 3092; shape quotient 1.150. Overall size: length 69.7; external diameter 31.6. Sounding length: cup depth 21. Bore: cup diameter 19.0; minimum diameter 4.4. Depth of taper: shank depth 36.1. Diameter of taper: maximum 11.9; minimum 10.3. Stamped on side of cup "T H". Purchased by lender with and possibly formerly used with tenor horn in F/Eb (556).
