Bore: at c 10mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 12.0); 1st v.t.s. 12.9 (2nd and 3rd v.t.s. stuck); m.t.s. 12.9; at 1318mm from bell end, c 14.4; at c 521mm from bell end, 20.4; at 18.0mm from bell end, 106.0. B = 0.69. Bell cutoff = 1100 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 12.5 12.0 (taper in first 10mm only). Inscribed on garland "K. Schamal / Tovarna na hudebni nastroje v Praze"; on applied silver shield on side of bell "A F" surmounted by crown. Decorative features: bell stay in shape of letter "S" with arrowhead tips; 8-pointed star patterns on valve rotor top plates.
