DescriptionTechnical description: Blackwood with german silver ferrules and keywork. Four pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, one-piece body, bell. Very complex system of covered tone-holes. With a second touch the player is able to close the next chromatic tone-hole and the following with a third touch. Example for the lower octave: L0: P (F); speaker. L1: P (E; E♭); throat A♮; throat A♭, L2: P (E♭; D; D♭). L3: P (D♭; C; B); cross E₄/B₅ (E♭₄/B♭₅ with L1). L4: (B; B♭; A) R1: P (A; A♭); side F♯₄/C♯₆; side trill 1-2. R2: P (A♭; G; G♭), R3: P (G♭; F), R4: E. Keyhead type: modern. Keymount type: screwed in pillars. Springs fatigued. Mouthpiece missing.
