Inscribed on applied silver plaque on bell, surmounted by double headed eagle "Josef Jarkowsky / Instrumenten Fabrik / Neulerchenfeld / Grundsteingasse 28 / Wien"; on bell garland "Wilhelm Köck".
Decorative features: Ornate bottom caps on valves.
Repair History: Probable original C tuning slide (air column length probably c 300mm shorter than Bb slide) missing. Fixing screw of 3rd valve a replacement of poor fit.
Usable pitch: Plays nearly 100 cents above A4 = 440 Hz.
Purchased by lender with mouthpiece (1586).
