DescriptionTechnical description: Cocus wood with german silver ferrules and keywork. Four pieces: mouthpiece, one section, barrel and bell. Mouthpiece of ebonite; slim barrel with two narrow german silver ferrules. Tenon of the mouthpiece fitted with cord, tenons of the joint are of cork. Speaker curved, chimney for the speaker on the left side of the instrument, speaker liner projects c|2mm into bore. Throat|A key also opening a vent key to be in tune. Spectacle for L2 and L3 to close vent keys to allow a forked B♭₅ and to improve the intonation of E₆. Trill key for C₆/D₆ on R2. Spectacle for R2 and R3 with vent keys to improve the intonation of forked B♭₃/F₅. Duplicate F₃/C₅ touchpiece for L4 and E₃/B♮₄ and F♯₃/C♯₅ on L4 fully coupled to R4 F₃/C₅ key. L0: @I{T; speaker.
