DescriptionConical wooden tube with 8 fingerholes (one thumbhole at the back) and 8 metal rings decorated with semi-preciuos stones blue and red coloured sitting between holes. Bell of metall alloy with decorative bands loosely fitted over end of tube (bore 130). A chain is fixed at two points at the bell and at another near the mouthpiece. Mouthpiece sits on top of a spindle decorated with ormanents and coloured stones. A pirouette (lip disc) is mounted beneath missing the double-reed. Potentially made for the tourist market. |
