DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. One horn ring on bell. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a fusiform swelling. All keys except spectacle mounted in blocks. Spectacle mounted between screwed-in pillars. G♯₃/E♭₅ key closes vent via spectacle for high notes. Shaped ivory thumb rest. 12 keys, 2 rings.
