Renaissance fingering. Performance characteristics: The instrument is a flûte à neuf trous with the eighth finger-hole a duplicate to be closed according to whether the player has the left hand or right hand lowermost. Usable pitch: Sounding A⁴ = c 441 Hz (c 4 cents above A⁴ = 440 Hz). |
