Description

Technical description: Silver-plated brass; with quick-change valve for B♭/A to be operated by the right hand; water-key on m.t.s.; fitting for music card holder. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top sprung by tension spring inside hollow stem; alignment by key on spring crossbar. Quick-change rotary valve. stamped on bell "NVA" in rectangle / "``SILBRON'' / (REGISTERED) / CLASS A / trumpet-and-banner trademark incorporating "TRADE MARK" and "BOOSEY" / BOOSEY & CO. LTD. / MAKERS. LONDON / 132468 / British Throughout"; on side of 3rd valve casing, bottom caps and stems "145"; on side of 2nd valve casing in middle "144" / trumpet-and-banner trademark incorporating "TRADE MARK" and "BOOSEY" / 104420 / at bottom "PATENT 1937292"; on 2nd valve bottom caps and stems "144"; on side of 3rd valve casing, bottom caps and stems "143"; on quick-change valve tuning-slide ferrules "B♭" and "A", with pointer arrow on valve top cap. Overall size: 503; bell 116. Bore: m.t.s., v.t.s. (3, 2, 1) and quick-change valve 11.0 Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 10.7 - 10.0. Decorative feautures: floral motif around inscription on bell. Accessories: Original fitted hard case. Probably formerly used with mouthpiece (4227), not original.
