Overall size: 803; bell diameter 236. Sounding length: minimum 2758. Bore: minimum 7.7; v.t.s. 12.7; m.t.s. 12.8 - 13.8; 1379mm from bell end, c 21.7; c 973mm from bell end, 30.7. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 8.3 at end; compare with 8.1 for the two instruments in F, (2516) and (2855). Inscribed on bell "GEBR. / ALEXANDER / MAINZ" within decorative surround, and "LPO / 3". With modern lightweight case. Associated with Wagner tubas (2515), (2516) and (2855).
