Signature marks: Inscribed on bell with A.S. PARIS monogram / "SEUL / GRAND PRIX / 1867 / ADOLPHE SAX / Facteur Breveté / DE LA MON MRE DE L'EMPEREUR / 50. Rue St Georges / A PARIS / NO 34539", the `L' of `SEUL' not present; inscribed on 1st valve top cap and side "1"; on 2nd valve top cap and side "2"; on 3rd valve side only "3"; on 4th valve no inscriptions.
