DescriptionTechnical description: Double manual bentside spinet. Inner-outer case construction. Compass 50 notes, G₁/B₁ - C₆ [GG/BB - c''']. 2 sets of strings, 1 × 8-ft (lower manual), 1 × 4-ft (upper manual). Inner case of walnut with a soundboard of pine. Repair History: Jacks replacements, probably by Morley. Originally with dog-leg jacks, the keyboards could be coupled by sliding. The carved, silvered stand is not original. Restored by Hugh Gough before 1962. |
