DescriptionTechnical description: Silver-plated; semi-round rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.75; deep funnel, almost conical, cup shape with smoothly blended throat. Cup volume 1817; shape quotient 1.087. Overall size: length 58.6; external diameter 26.3. Sounding length: cup depth 17. Bore: cup diameter 17.1; minimum diameter 4.3. Depth of taper: shank depth 28.2. Diameter of taper: maximum 10.4; minimum 8.7. Stamped on side of cup "ANTOINE / COURTOIS / 88 P. DES MARAIS ST MARTIN / PARIS" and "MODELE / KOENIG". Purchased by lender with, probably formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with cornet in Bb etc (3477).
