Wide mouthpiece receiver; would need wide taper but not too large a cup. Valve type: 4 rotary valves. Overall size: 998; bell 434. Sounding length: minimum 3679. Bore: mouthpipe at c 70mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 14.1; centre of valve cluster at c 876mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2,3,4) 18.7; m.t.s. 18.7 - 20.3; 1840mm from bell end, c 40.1; c 1573mm from bell end, 56.7. B = 0.39. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 14.6 - 14.3. Inscribed on bell "M. Wolff / Instrumentenbauer / Oldenburg i/o"; on garland "6M AA".
