Zig-zag speaker with chimney on the left side of the instrument. Upper section originally featured with 2 rings, but now converted for a player lacking 2nd finger of left hand: two plates for L3 (D₄/A₅; C₄/G₅ activated by cross key), shorter C♯₄/G♯₅ key with alternative touchpiece for R1. R1 tone-hole lined with german silver. 14 keys, 3 rings, 1 plate, 5 ebonite rollers.

L1: T + ring + vent; throat A♮; throat A♭.
L3: plate; cross C₄/G₅.
L4: Cross E♭₄/B♭₅; C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅.
