Signature marks: Inscribed on bell "C.G. CONN / ELKHART IND / USA"; on joint "44H"; on inner slide near joint "372522"; on inner slide near mouthpiece "33". Overall size: 1184; bell 176. Bore: at c 40mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 10.4; expanding by 100mm from mouthpiece receiver to bore c 11.4; descending slide, 12.2; ascending slide, 12.2; m.t.s. bore, 14.3 - 18.3. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 12.0 - 11.3. Inscribed on bell "C.G. CONN / ELKHART IND / USA"; on joint "44H"; on inner slide near joint "372522"; on inner slide near mouthpiece "33". Decorative features: Fluted and angled bell and tuning-slide stays; art-deco style bell engraving. With black side opening case (Conn, but not original). Usable pitch: A⁴ = 439-440 Hz. |
