Technical description: Model 707; silver-plated brass, with bell detachable by screwed joint; water-key and fitting for music card holder; two rings for banner. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom sprung; alignment by key on piston.

Bore: mouthpipe at c 20mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 11.95; m.t.s. at c 745mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 12.35; centre of valve cluster at c 1282mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2,3) 12.35; at 1352mm from bell end, c 12.5; at c 490mm from bell end, 17.7; at 17.3mm from bell end, 104.7. B = 0.76. Bell cutoff = 900 Hz.
Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 12.4 - 11.7.
Inscribed on bell: monogram FR / "BESSON / LONDON / 700 / BOOSEY & HAWKES / ENGLAND"; on mouthpiece ferrule "707 741322".
With original fitted wooden case, covered in black leathercloth.
Usable pitch: Bb at A4 = 440 Hz.
Formerly used with Eb soprano fanfare trumpet (5852), B flat melody fanfare trumpet (5756) and G bass fanfare trumpet (5758).
