DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Original blackwood mouthpiece, socket-type, grooved for cord. Barrel with a brass tuning slide. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a fusiform swelling. The two L4 levers are mounted in a brass saddle and marked "WOOD'S PATENT", overlapping touchpieces. C♯₄/G♯₅ mounted in lower section. All cross keys with round touchpieces. Bevelled G♯₃/E♭₅.
