DescriptionTechnical description: Bamboo; one piece; cork block; window and duct on lower side; 6 finger-holes, 1 thumb-hole, the finger-holes in two groups of three, each group aligned at an angle to the axis of the instrument to facilitate fingering. Performance characteristics: Range G² to C⁴ (written), G³ to C⁵ (sounding); tuned to G major scale, parts written in bass clef. Usable pitch: Sounding A⁴ = c 446 Hz (c 25 cents above A⁴ = 440 Hz).
