DescriptionTechnical description: The octagonal, undulating, stick of dark hardwood has fluting starting 212mm from the frog end of the bow (not including the button), and ends in a short, swan head. The stick has no nipple. The open, screw-mechanism, rounded frog is made of a dark wood. The bone button is cylindrical, ending in an elongated sphere. Measurements: Weight: 62g. Hair length: 591mm. Balance point: 260.5mm. Head height: 17.3mm. Head width: 10.0mm. Face length: not even; the thumb side is 31.3mm, and the finger side is 31.7mm. Tip diameter: 6.4mm. Frog diameter: 9.9mm. Period of oscillation: 1.31. Distance from pivot to tail: 82.65mm. Button length: 18.7mm. Ferrule width: 10.25mm. Frog + stick height: 33.7mm. Frog top length: 50.25mm. There are scratches on the head and nicks out of the head mortise. There is a crack in the button.
