Repair History: This instrument is in a better condition than the one in B♭. Bells may had been mixed up. Blocks had been strengthened with pins, which have corroded. One crack next to the tone hole of the throat A-key. One crack next to the tone hole for the F₄/c₆- key. Third wooden ring had been chipped and repaired. The G#₃/E♭₅ key is repaired and/or a replacement: while the player can slide easily from the tone hole to the key and vice versa on the A-clarinet, this is not possible on the B. Made as a pair with (4063). |
