Maker: Gautrot. Paris. Circa 1870. Overall size: 343; bell 121. Bore: at distal end of shank 10.2; v.t.s. (3,2,1) 11.2; m.t.s. 11.3 11.5. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. of shank 9.8 9.0; shank receiver taper 12.4 not tapered. Inscribed on bell "Gautrot Brevete / PARIS", and trademark of anchor and rope and "G A" within ellipse; on valve top caps and side of valve casings "3", "2", "1". Playing accessories: With music card holder. Purchased by lender with mouthpiece (4512).
