DescriptionTechnical description: double clarinet with reeds encased in a gourd wind chamber; originally two wooden pipes each with single reed of same length, metal drone added later; melody pipe with eight finger-holes and one thumb-hole, original drone without hole, end plugged; metal drone with black rubber ath the end; coins stuck with wax to base of the gourd; neck of the gourd punctured showing lines of geometrical pattern, cut at the end, serving as the mouthpiece; gourd painted yellow and decorated with red and green tape, ribbon and mirrors.
