DescriptionTechnical description: in polished but unlacquered brass. The tuning mechanism is a 118mm-long straight connector between the slide and bell sections with adjustable depth of insertion into the bell section (cylindrical joint with ligature screw restraint) and tapered socket to receive a tapered tenon on the slide section. This mechanism is known from other British trombones of the period. With hook for L0.
Repair History: Converted to low pitch by insertion of two pieces in the bell section, 2 x 99 198mm added to original sounding length of 3077.The hook for L0 is an addition. |
