DescriptionTechnical description: Silver-plated brass, the bell wall is progressively thicker towards the end (0.3mm at 150mm from bell end, 0.4mm at 100mm from bell end, 0.55mm at 15mm from bell end). With quick-change valve for A and alternative main tuning-slides for high and low pitch. The valve tuning-slides each have three gradations (B♭ low pitch, A high pitch, A low pitch). Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top-sprung with compression spring inside annular chamber in stem, alignment by three-armed washer under spring engaging with three unequal slots in the inside of the valve casing; rotary quick-change valve. |
