DescriptionTechnical description: Lacquered brass with german silver bell rim wire, ferrules, bow guard, stays and valve parts. Bell without gusset, 'Mainzer Rand' bell rim wire. With ring for R0; water-keys on 3rd valve tuning-slide and on main tubing just before the main tuning-slide; no fitting for music-card holder. The 1st valve lowers the pitch by 1 semitone; the 2nd valve lowers the pitch by 2 semitones; the 3rd valve lowers the pitch by 3 semitones; the 6th valve lowers the pitch by 5 semitones putting the instrument into C; the 4th valve lowers the pitch by 2 semitones in combination with the 6th; the 5th valve lowers the pitch by 1 semitone in combination with the 6th.
