DescriptionTechnical description: Open-back fretless banjo.The resonator membrane is attached to the metal frame by 22 brass bracket hooks. The diameter of the resonator is 30mm. The membrane is fashioned out of skin and shows some signs of wear, with a number of scratches and scuff marks. The neck is constructed of a heavy, dark wood and is 51mm in length. It is decorated with two metallic stars. It hosts 5 strings, one of which is detached at the top. 4 of these are metal. The headstock houses 4 wooden tuning pegs, whilst the fifth is to be found on the side of the neck. |
