DescriptionTechnical description: 7G (long) model. Silver-plated brass; valve section with two alternative main tuning-slides; with tortil for insertion between mouthpiece and instrument. Cylindrical joint tenon on valve section with ligature restraining screw on bell section. Dummy tubing which appears to bypass valves as tubing runs from main tuning-slide to tenon at joint. With water-key on both main yuning-slides and with fitting for music card-holder.
Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung, alignment by key on piston engaging with channel in casing interior. |
