| Interview summary |
Humbie school pupil, Oran Dalrymple, talks about his life in Humbie where he lives with his family in a house on the boundary between East Lothian and Midlothian. This means that he is eligible to get the school bus to school and Oran describes this and day-to-day life at school. He talks about lessons, teachers, meal-plans, playground games etc. Oran also talks about life at home, describing the games he likes to play and some of his favourite food. Oran even shares a recipe for his favourite halloumi cheese sauce with us. Towards the end of the interview, Oran talks about some of the issues that concern him, such as Brexit and climate change and he mentions local initiatives, such as the eco brick scheme and litter picks, which he gets involved with. |
