Interview summary | Interview with Tom McGill, born 1925. There is a brief biography of Tom's life up to the point where he trained as a minister and moved to Stranraer (1972) where he became minister for the Stranraer Creamery. Most of this interview is concerned with the structure and practices at the Creamery and includes details about the extent of the business and change over time (including the decline of smaller creameries and the increase in the number of cattle in a herd. Towards the end of the interview, Tom talks about family life and being a foster-parent. |
