Interview summary | Interview with Erynne Newton and Declan Cairns, both 8 years old, who are pupils at St Ninian's school in Dumfries. They talk about how they travel to school, school uniforms, what makes a good teacher and their favourite books and authors. They talk about J M Barrie and their recent visit to Moat Brae house. Declan's granny worked at the house and he thought she'd have had to clean up a lot of blood. When asked how they would like to see the house developed the children talk of having a pool with mermaids, skeletons and separate areas for girls and boys. |
