Biographical history | Robert McQuistan is a retired secondary school teacher who was brought up in Creetown and has spent most of his life in this area. His interests include the Scots language, local history and local place-names, and the Scottish Enlightenment. He runs the local history group and is closely involved with church work and giving talks to local charities. Of his time as a volunteer fieldworker, Robert said: |
