Inscribed along the edges of the relief is a quotation by Oscar Romero that reads 'let my blood be a seed of freedom and a sign that hope will soon be a reality" . This is written in both English and Spanish. This is a tribute to Archbishop of San Salvador Oscar Romero who was murdered in March 1980, as part of renaming of Pollock Hall Developemnt as Romero Place. |
