Sir Thomas Watson, 1st Bart. (1792-1882), MD. Cantab., FRCP, PRCP; Physician to Queen Victoria, and to King's College and Middlesex Hospitals.

Private plate. Watson was physician to Middlesex Hospital from 1827 to 1843, and professor at both King's College, London (1835-40) and London University (1828-31). In 1859 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of London, and in 1866 he was created baronet in recognition of his long and dedicated service to medicine.
