Description | Brewster stands with an open book in his left hand, his thumb and forefinger marking two different pages. His right hand held forwards as if to show us something. His fingers are broken off and the prism which he once held is missing. He sports bushy mutton chops wears a waistcoat, trousers and hose. He also wears a full length gown which rests on the ground and within its folds behind his left heel nestles a stereoscope. |
